Playing online
Do I need an account?
Only for online games. Games against the computer and two-player games on one device need no account and work offline. For online play, sign in with Apple or Google (on Android, Google).
Why am I not on the leaderboard?
Players appear on the leaderboard after finishing 5 rated online games. Pull down on the lobby to refresh it.
How does the turn timer work?
Each player has 15 seconds per turn. If the time runs out, that player loses the game. If your connection drops, reconnect quickly: your turn timer keeps running. Leaving a game in progress resigns it.
How do I change my name or picture?
In the lobby, tap Edit profile. Changing your name, picture or disc design does not affect your rating or leaderboard position. Names must be unique and appropriate.
Ads and purchases
What does Remove Ads include?
A one-time purchase that turns off ads for good and unlocks every premium disc design. It belongs to your account, so sign in first.
I bought Remove Ads but still see ads
Make sure you're signed in to the same account you bought it on, then tap Restore purchases in the lobby. If that doesn't help, email us.
How do I unlock a premium disc design?
Tap a locked design in Edit profile and watch a short video. That design stays unlocked on your account permanently. Remove Ads unlocks all of them at once.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple or Google. On iPhone and iPad, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, use Google Play's refund page.
Can I limit ad tracking?
Yes. On iPhone or iPad go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and turn off tracking for Reversi. On Android go to Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads) and delete your advertising ID. You'll still see ads, but they won't be personalised using it.
Your account
How do I delete my account?
In the app, tap Edit profile, then Delete account at the bottom. This removes your sign-in, email, name, picture, disc design and your place on the leaderboard immediately, and any game in progress is resigned. It cannot be undone. If you can't open the app, see Delete your account.
I signed in with a different method and lost my rating
Signing in with Apple and signing in with Google create separate accounts. Sign in with the method you used originally. If you need help, email us.
